Time spent in the Ukrainian Saturday School is valuable to every child, because of the direct contact between the student and the mentor. Our teaching staff strives to use the time at school to explain new material, discuss current topics and issues that arise during the child's stay at School.

The ability to speak and listen effectively, to make choices, and to resolve conflicts when they arise are all critical to the functioning of any community. At Ukrainian Saturday School we understand that children need a quiet and calm environment, opportunities to experiment and various ways to communicate. We want every child to enjoy being in the circle of their peers while they're learning new material at School. 

Children should feel supported, and it's important to keep them interested while at the Saturday School, they should want to come here every Saturday. A wonderful team of teachers, which is currently being formed at the Ukrainian Saturday School, is successfully working on these tasks.
